He will use various tools such as word cards to practice the targeted word before, within and at the end of words. The therapist then goes ahead to help the child use the words in sentences. The specialist might use the same sentence but utilize multiple words. He will encourage the kid to come up with their own sentences using the words that have been targeted during therapy. The child’s progress dictates the next step. In this case it might involve the baby practicing the sounds in a conversation or a story.

In this stage, the therapist encourages the child to use the words in various activities such as during playtime. The aim of this activity is to encourage the kid to talk more, which then helps them to develop their language skills naturally.
